Delivery of Targets

ASB Strategy Outcome Agreement

3 x Problem solving plans

  • Safer Homes
  • Safer Streets
  • Safer Environment

Barriers include:

  • Maintaining focus on Strategic priorities and evidence based approach is always a challenge.
  • The continued view of some that the CSP is a separate entity (with staff and other resources) rather than a mechanism for enhanced joint planning and action. This can lead to a lack of engagement in providing solutions, although the partnership is overcoming this.
  • Different professional views on some issues eg ASB – can lead to tension and lack of action. This is improving significantly since the recruitment of 3 Neighbourhood Community Safety Managers in 07/08.
  • Continuing expectation that the Council should / can fund developments and the need to review and make better use of existing resources across the Partnership.
