Prosperity and Jobs (ACSEF) 07-08

The Remit:

• To deliver Aberdeen City and Shire Economic Forum's (ACSEF) Economic Development Plan for Aberdeen City and Shire.

The Forum:

There is a Management Team meeting every 4 weeks and a Forum meeting every 8 weeks. A schedule meetings is diaried at the beginning of each calendar year.

Minutes of both Management Team and Forum meetings are circulated to The Aberdeen City Alliance (TACA) and the Aberdeen Civic Forum. Minutes are available on the website www.acsef.co.uk.

Forum Activity:

• 7 workshop sessions covering each of the ACSEF priorities, attracting 120 stakeholders. Aberdeen Civic Forum members were invited to each of these sessions.
• Two intermediary events (intermediaries - bankers, accountants/solicitors/venture capitalists/housebuilders/developers).
• Two presentations to TACA.
