Forum's Strategic Priorities, Objectives and Targets for 2008/09

  • To assist with the development of the City's Cultural Strategy for 2008-2013.
  • To assist with the development of a joint City and Shire Cultural Compact due Autumn 2008.
  • To advise on the City's Cultural Transformation Programme.

 

 

Barriers include:

  • Volunteers have time/capacity issues in devoting time to pushing through issues.

  • Membership needs to be more fixed with clearer defined role - advisory or strategic?

  • New strategy needed to give a framework.

  • Role of Shire - needs clarity.

  • Reporting Statistics need reviewing as infrastructure develops.
