Active Aberdeen 06-07

The Remit:

• Lead on the specific challenge for the City, by maintaining an overview of all the partnerships, strategies and plans.
• Ensure that all stakeholders (including other relevant Challenge Forums) are regularly consulted on the challenge, paying particular attention to consulting with communities and Communities of Interest.
• Be responsible for the delivery of the targets and actions in the Community Plan relating to the challenge.
• Report regularly to The Aberdeen City Alliance on activity, progress towards targets and the development of new targets and actions.

The Forum:

The Active Aberdeen Forum meets four times a year.

The Forum has reviewed the current Active Aberdeen Strategy (2002 - 2007) with significant work being started to produce a new strategy for 2008 onwards.
