Neighbourhood Community Action Plans

Aberdeen's Community Plan commits to the completion of 'neighbourhood plans for every neighbourhood in the City by 2006.'

In the City, thirty-seven neighbourhoods have been agreed and Neighbourhood Community Action Plans have been prepared for each of them.

Neighbourhood community action planning is now underway in all parts of the City by the Neighbourhood Community Planning Officers. In developing a Neighbourhood Community Action Plan, it is crucial to gain the views of residents on the issues that affect them. Planning for Real gives everyone the chance to have their views recorded and an opportunity to shape their neighbourhood's future. Planning for Real (PfR) events help to identify local priorities and inform the final Neighbourhood Community Action Plans.
