Scottish Centre for Intergenerational Practice's -National Training Programme :Summer Seminar Series

A Seminar will be held in Aberdeen on Thursday 28th May 2009, 2pm at Curl Aberdeen, Eday Walk after the morning's Showcase event.  The Summer Seminar Series on Intergenerational working will focus on Innovation, Best Practice and Funding. Seminars will last 2 ½ hours.

A key part of the Centre's action plan is the provision of high quality, free training programmes to support those working in multi generational programmes.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and can be booked by e-mailing scipadmin@strath.ac.ukor calling (0141) 548 2492. Each delegate will receive a comprehensive training pack and certificate.  The first edition of the new look Generations Working Together Newsletter is now available. Most of you are already aware that a multi agency Task Group has been set up to develop a single Equality Scheme for the Council. The Equality Scheme will replace the current 3 separate Schemes - Race, Disability & Gender. The new Scheme will also cover the other strands of equality ie Age, Religion or Belief, Sexual Orientation and Gender Reassignment, in line with the new Equality Bill published at the end of April 2009.
