Transport and Connections

The Transport and Connections challenge is currently being taken forward by the North East Transport Consultative Forum (NETCF).  This is a regional forum for transport in the north east and is led by Nestrans, the Regional Transport Partnership.

The need for a Forum that also focuses on more local transport issues has been identified and opportunities for this, as well as combining transport with land use and environment forums, are currently being considered as part of an overall review of the Challenge Forum structure.

The targets set for the Transport and Connections challenge in the Community Plan are part of wider transportation strategies for the City and North East.  These strategies are the Nestrans Regional Transport Strategy and Aberdeen City Council's Local Transport Strategy.
