Singe Outcome Agreement 2009-10

The Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) was introduced in 2008-09.This forms part of the Concordat between Government and Local Authorities. The first SOA for Aberdeen was developed with partners and is jointly owned by the City's Community Planning Partnership, The Aberdeen City Alliance and Aberdeen City Council.

There is a requirement to produce updated tables of activity each year to demonstrate progress towards achieving the Local Outcomes in the SOA and to demonstrate how these local outcomes contribute to the 15 National Outcomes in the SOA.

In preparation for the SOA 2008-09, a conference was held to agree the priorities for Community Planning which were then reflected in the SOA.

For 2009-2010, The Aberdeen City Alliance will be asked to demonstrate how the community and the voluntary sectors are involved the in the development of the SOA so, a stakeholder event will be held in December which will involve Partners, Forums, the Voluntary Sector, Communities of Interest, Regeneration Matters and Neighbourhood Networks, to identify the high level strategic priorities for each outcome in the SOA, Local Outcomes, the activity required (high level) and performance measures.

This information will then inform the development of the SOA 09 -10.Workshop sessions on each outcome will be led by the relevant Forum (see below).
