Aberdeen Works is a Community Planning Aberdeen challenge Forum which brings partners together to maintain a focus of employment and employment issues in Aberdeen City.
Role:
To provide strategic direction and lead in this sector for the City
Co-ordinate activity to deliver on Single Outcomes Agreement:-
National Outcome 2 - We realise our full economic potential with more and better employment opportunities for our people
National Outcome 7 - We have tackled the significant inequalities in Scottish society
Remit:
Develop regular briefings for the sector
Oversee the Linking Opportunity and Need Team (LOAN)
Bring key partners together to:
Provide joined up focus for City
Provide a co-ordinated approach
Provide a local point for performance management information
