SDF is seeking applications for the post of National Training & Development Officer – Naloxone.
This new post - funded by the Scottish Government - will play an important role in the roll-out of Naloxone training programmes in Scotland, which are aimed at reducing drug deaths caused by opiate overdose.
We are looking for a highly skilled and effective communicator with a demonstrable track record in designing, planning and delivering training, ideally on drug-related critical incidents. You must have a clinical background and be able to engage effectively with a wide range of diverse professionals and community groups, as well as vulnerable people in service user settings. This post will involve travel throughout Scotland.

The salary range for the post is £30,006 - £32,763.
Fixed term post to 31 March 2012, secondments will be considered.
