There are a number of organisations, both local and national, which provide advice, information and support to carers and family members who are effected by an individual's alcohol or drug use.

Families Anonymous - www.famanon.org.uk - Families Anonymous Meetings: Aberdeen: Tuesday 8.00pm - 9.45pm, St. Peters Church, Justice St. AB11 5HX. Contact: Jim /Margaret – (01224) 596 182. On the website, as well as further information there is also a discussion forum and on line meeting which can particularly benefit those unable to attend a face to face meeting.
